For beginner KDP & Etsy sellers of printable kids' travel activity books
Build a complete 40-page activity-book interior from one trip theme — page by page, in journey order.
Miles & Puzzles is a structured prompt system, not a prompt dump and not a software app. You pick a trip theme and an age band; the system lays the book out as a journey, hands you the exact prompt for every page, calibrates each page for ages 5–6, 7–8 or 9–10, and walks you through print setup and publishing checks.
What this is, plainly: a structured prompt system — not a software app or generator. Junexity does not host generation. You run the prompts in your own free ChatGPT account; the system supplies the page order, the calibration and the print checks.
The problem with a pile of prompts
Most activity-book prompt packs hand you hundreds of disconnected prompts and leave the hard parts to you: deciding which page goes where, keeping the difficulty right for a 6-year-old versus a 10-year-old, making sure no two neighbouring pages repeat the same puzzle type, collecting the answer keys, and setting the file up so it prints correctly. Stitch it together by hand and the usual result is a book that feels random — too hard on page 3, repetitive by page 12, and stressful at upload time.
The workflow this system gives you instead
A standard book is 40 pages: 36 activity pages in that journey order, plus 4 compact answer-key pages. A variety rule keeps the same activity type from appearing on neighbouring pages, and every page is generated for one age band at a time, with that band's limits on word length, grid size, number range and instruction length. A scaling table also covers 24-, 48- and 60-page books.
A real sample — actual content from the product
No mock-ups and no invented screenshots. Below are two genuine pieces of the product, shown exactly as they ship: one of the 108 library prompts, and one finished page from the worked example included in the package.
Prompt MP-FE-RT-WS-78-01 — "Road Signs Along the Way"
You copy and paste this into ChatGPT, setting the two variables (page slot and difficulty step) as the Quick Start shows:
You are making one printable activity page for a child aged 7–8 for {PAGE SLOT}. Use Difficulty {DIFFICULTY STEP} as defined here: Step 1 = across or down only; Step 2 = across, down, or diagonal down-right; Step 3 = Step 2 directions plus one backwards word. Make a Word Search titled "Road Signs Along the Way". Child instruction on the page must be 12 words or fewer. All child sentences must be 10 words or fewer. Make a 10×10 letter grid. Hide exactly these 8 words, each up to 8 letters: BRIDGE, TUNNEL, PICNIC, WINDOW, ENGINE, VILLAGE, RIVER, HIGHWAY. Fill empty squares with random capital letters. Output plain text only. Show the grid as 10 rows. In each row, space the letters like this: A B C D E F G H I J. Under the grid, list the 8 words to find in capital letters. Use no branded characters. Use no real place names, road names, or trademarks. Do not state any real speed limit, law, or distance as a fact. Do not ask for any child's name, photo, or personal details. A grown-up names road signs in any story line. After the page content, add a section starting with ANSWER KEY: giving the start row and column and direction for each hidden word, counting from 1 at the top left.
Every prompt also ships with a one-line "fix-it" follow-up for the common failure shapes — wrong grid size, a word that doesn't fit its letters, off-band vocabulary — so a bad output gets corrected with a paste, not a rewrite.
Worked example, page 3 — Word Search (Road Trip, ages 7–8)
The package includes a fully worked 10-page mini-book, made with the system and checked page by page, so you can see the whole workflow before you build your own book. This is its word search page, exactly as it appears in the product:
M S U P M A P R A N U D A O P M T P E T S I I D I U U I D R I R O A D L B C S S C M C P G G O N T C T I N A T T A I I A B R I D G E E C T M I E N T U N N E L E S N A C K I T L D R S U D T D B S O O A
Words to find: MAP · ROAD · SNACK · MUSIC · PICNIC · BRIDGE · TUNNEL · CAMERA
From its answer-key page: MAP — row 1, column 5, across · ROAD — row 4, column 2, across · TUNNEL — row 8, column 4, across. Every activity prompt returns its own answer-key entry, and the system has you solve each of your own puzzles against its key before you publish.
What's inside — exact deliverables
| Component | What you get |
|---|---|
| Master Journey-Arc Sequencer | The page-by-page book plan: journey phases, page allocations for 24/40/48/60-page books, the difficulty ramp, the variety-rotation rule, and the answer-key placement map — plus repair prompts for when an output breaks a slot's rules. |
| Activity Prompt Library | 108 structured activity prompts — 3 themes × 12 activity types × 3 age bands. Themes: Road Trip · Airplane Adventure · Beach Holiday. Types: word search, word scramble, maze, colouring page, connect-the-dots, counting & simple maths, spot-the-difference, matching pairs, drawing prompt, story starter / finish-the-story, I-spy scavenger list, and band-gated specials (code-breaker secret messages; crossword-style clue grids and number grids for the older bands). Each prompt carries its word bank, difficulty steps, and a fix-it line. |
| Age-Band Calibration Cards | One card per band (5–6, 7–8, 9–10): vocabulary ceilings and maximum word lengths, grid sizes, dot-to-dot ranges, instruction word-count caps (8 / 12 / 18 words), difficulty ceilings per activity type, and a per-page pre-flight QA checklist for that band. |
| Answer-Key System | How keys are collected as you generate, where they sit in the book (4 key pages in a 40-page book), and the solve-your-own-puzzle check you run before export. |
| Print-Ready Spec Pack | Trim, bleed and margin tables; a Canva assembly guide; the KDP upload walkthrough; and an Etsy digital-delivery section. The Spec Pack follows KDP's published print specifications — trim, bleed and margin values checked against KDP's own help pages on 2026-11-03 — and walks you through the upload and AI-disclosure steps, including KDP's current classification for activity books. |
| Quick Start | A single guided path: pick Road Trip and one band, build a 10-page mini-book first, then scale to 40 pages. |
| Worked Example | A fully worked 10-page mini-book (Road Trip, ages 7–8), made with the system and checked page by page: slot table, all ten pages, the answer-key page, and the completed band checklist. |
| Documents | Feature guide, limits page, troubleshooting (including model drift, broken puzzles and a non-Canva fallback path using Google Slides or Word), the licence, and a changelog. |
Delivered as documents (Markdown and PDF) on your protected Junexity account page, with downloads — so you can copy prompts straight into ChatGPT and print the cards and checklists.
What the Front-End does not include
- The 9 extra theme packs and the Series Planner — those are the optional Theme Expansion Library, offered after checkout. The Front-End is complete without them.
- The done-for-you interiors and listing kit — three finished 40-page interiors are a separate optional add-on. With the Front-End alone, you make the books yourself.
- Finished cover artwork — covers for your own books are your work; this system covers interiors.
- Colouring pages as finished art files — they come as ready-to-use briefs with a text fallback (see the limits note below), not as image files.
Licence
Your licence lets you sell the books you make with this system — on KDP, Etsy, or your own store. It does not give resale, PLR, giveaway or redistribution rights on the system itself: the prompts, cards, packs and documents may not be resold or shared. You publish under your own accounts, and you are responsible for reviewing every page of your book and for your book's compliance with the platform you publish on.
How the pieces work for you
Order and pacing, decided for you
The Sequencer assigns every page a journey phase, an activity type and a difficulty step, so a book opens easy, builds steadily and never puts two pages of the same type side by side.
Calibrated for the child's age
Every prompt is calibrated per age band — word length, grid size, number range and instruction length are set for 5–6, 7–8 or 9–10. One theme can therefore become three correctly levelled books, one per band.
Limit, stated plainly: a language model can drift off-band. That is what each card's pre-flight checklist and the prompts' fix-it lines are for — you check each page against its band and correct it before assembly.
Keys you can trust your buyers' kids to use
Every activity prompt returns its own answer-key entry, and every done-for-you page ships with its key. The system's routine is strict: solve your own puzzle from its key before the book goes out.
Print setup without guesswork
The Spec Pack gives you the numbers as check-off tables — trim size, 0.125″ bleed, gutter margins by page count, the barcode zone to keep clear — and the KDP upload walkthrough covers the classification and AI-disclosure steps in the order the upload asks for them.
KDP can change its pages without notice; the system tells you to re-check the spec values at your first upload.
No prompt-writing or design experience needed
No prompt-writing or design experience needed — the prompts, page order and print settings are done for you. Colouring pages come as ready-to-use briefs with a text fallback.
Made with children's safety as a production standard
Kids-safe by design: no branded characters, no child personal data, no links or QR codes for children. No prompt asks for a child's name, photo or details; story content keeps children with family or trusted adults. This is a standard we applied while building the system — it is not a certification by any authority.
How it works
- Pick a theme and an age band. Road Trip, Airplane Adventure or Beach Holiday; ages 5–6, 7–8 or 9–10.
- Run the Sequencer. It lays out your book page by page — phase, activity type, difficulty step and key position for all 40 pages (or 24, 48 or 60).
- Generate each page. For each slot, paste the matching prompt into free ChatGPT. The prompt returns one page of copy-ready puzzle content plus its answer-key entry. Fix any page that misses its band with the prompt's fix-it line.
- Check each page. Run the band's pre-flight QA checklist — age-fit, answerability, safety — and solve each puzzle from its key.
- Assemble and publish. Build the interior in Canva using the Spec Pack (trim, bleed, margins, export settings), follow the KDP walkthrough — or use the Etsy section for a digital PDF — and publish under your own account.
Prerequisites — all free
- A free ChatGPT account. Written for the free ChatGPT tier; the only other tool is a free Canva account. The prompts are plain text with documented variables, so they also work in other general chat tools you may already have.
- A free Canva account for assembly — or the documented fallback path using Google Slides or Word.
- Your own KDP and/or Etsy accounts for publishing. Junexity does not publish for you and cannot approve your book on any platform.
Honest limits. This system structures and calibrates the work; it does not generate pages by itself, and it cannot guarantee that KDP or Etsy will accept your book, or that your book will sell. Those decisions and outcomes belong to the platforms and to your books. What the system removes is the unstructured part: page order, age calibration, answer keys and print setup.
Ways sellers use it
A first book, one theme, one band
Follow the Quick Start: Road Trip for ages 7–8, a 10-page mini-book to learn the workflow, then the full 40-page interior using the same steps.
One theme, three age levels
Re-run the same theme against the other two calibration cards. The vocabulary, grid sizes and number ranges change per band, so each book is genuinely re-levelled rather than re-labelled.
Longer and shorter books
The Sequencer's allocation table covers 24, 48 and 60 pages as well as the standard 40, so a short trip book or a bumper edition keeps the same journey order and ramp.
Questions, answered straight
How do I get the product after I buy?
Checkout is handled by WarriorPlus. After purchase you receive a delivery email with access to your account on junexity.com, where the product lives on a protected page with downloads. You can reach everything you own any time from My Products on junexity.com. Access is attached to the email address you buy with — if you already have a Junexity account under that email, the new product is added to it.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Use the "Lost your password?" link on the junexity.com login page and follow the reset email. If the email doesn't arrive or anything else goes wrong with access, write to junexity@gmail.com and we'll help you get back in.
Is this software? Do I install anything?
No. Miles & Puzzles is a structured prompt system — documents and prompts, not an app. Nothing to install, no account with Junexity's servers doing the generating: you paste prompts into your own free ChatGPT and assemble in Canva. The documents are Markdown and PDF, so they open on any computer, tablet or phone.
What does it cost me to use, beyond the $17?
Nothing required. The system is written for the free ChatGPT tier and a free Canva account, and KDP and Etsy accounts are free to open. There are no paid tools in the workflow.
Can I sell the books I make?
Yes — your licence lets you sell the books you make with this system. What you may not resell or share is the system itself: the prompts, calibration cards, spec pack and other package documents.
Can I just make a book for my own child?
Yes. This page is aimed at sellers, but the licence also permits personal use — you can build one book for your own child and simply not publish it. The publishing rights are included, not required.
Will KDP accept my book? Will it sell?
Nobody can promise you either, and this page doesn't. The Spec Pack follows KDP's published print specifications and the walkthrough covers the upload, classification and AI-disclosure steps as KDP documents them — but acceptance is Amazon's decision and sales depend on your book and your listing. You are responsible for reviewing every page before publishing.
What if a prompt gives me a broken or wrong-age page?
That happens with language models, and the system is built for it: every prompt includes a fix-it line for the common failure shapes, and each band card has a "spot it / fix it" table plus a pre-flight checklist. If a page still won't behave, the troubleshooting document covers regeneration and the text fallback forms.
